Sample Cheer/Dance Trip Itinerary

Here's an sample of what a typical trip experience might look like, although changes can be made.
As you are reading the itinerary, be aware that all transportation during the trip is provided for you.
You'll just catch the bus and go!  

And with all transportation, meals, and planning taken care of for you, 
plus all the theme parks to keep the squad entertained away from the game, 
this is finally a game trip that you can enjoy too!

Wednesday, Arrival Day, Orientation

Squad goes to school all day and departs that evening
Squad, Coaches, & Tag-Alongs depart on flight
Arrival in The Big D - Dallas, Texas 
Welcome from KSA and Campus Get-Aways Rep
Transfer directly to the Hotel
Registration and Key Distribution (No hassle check-in!)
Quick orientation at check-in so you're prepared for the week
Your luggage will be at the back of the hotel for easy access to your rooms
Free time to relax by the Pool!
Room Check & Lights Out 

Thursday, Practice and Banquet Day

Buffet Breakfast at the hotel
Transfer to workshop
Dance Workshop with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders
        Hard work, sweat and teamwork combine to make this a great dance workshop
After the workshop, back to the hotel for a quick shower and change
Team transfers to downtown Dallas
Enjoy Lunch at Planet Hollywood
Enjoy a little Free time in the West End Marketplace shopping and  
enjoying this great Dallas entertainment district and relaxing after lunch. 
Don't forget to pick up your Texas souvenirs (Don't Mess With Texas!) 
Then, transfer to the Texas Schoolbook Depository Building
Tour the 6th Floor Museum for a historical recount of JFK's death
Back to the hotel for a quick rest, shower, and change
In the evening, transfer to The KSA Celebration of Athletes Banquet

All teams, cheerleaders, coaches, and Tag-Along Fans will come together to meet and celebrate sportsmanship. Get your camera ready, this is a once in a lifetime experience.  We'll be seated and receive a fabulous banquet style meal. After dinner, each group will be introduced and each coach will say a few words about their group. Every team member, cheerleader, drill team member, manager, trainer, and coach will receive a KSA Participation Medal-because everyone who worked hard enough to get here is a winner! And finally, to close the Banquet, each Cheerleading Squad will take center stage for a performance in front of the entire group, showing which school has the best spirit. Is it you?

The KSA Celebration of Athletes Ceremony is sponsored by KSA Events and Campus Get-Aways. To keep the event unique and intimate, only students, coaches, and Campus Get-Aways Tag-Along Fans are eligible to attend, so make sure your parents book in time.
After the fun, transfer back to the hotel
Free time by the Pool to relax!

Friday, Game Day

Buffet Breakfast at the hotel
Squad transfers to Workshop
Cheerleading Workshop with a local College squad or Varsity Spirit
Hone your skills even more at this cheerleading specific clinic
Transfer to the Galleria Mall
Spend the afternoon shopping at this great mall as big as Texas
Lunch on your own at the mall
At appropriate time, the team will transfer to Texas Stadium for
the KSA Kick-Off Classic - featuring your team 
Junior Varsity games in Texas, if played, will usually be competed
on Saturday morning at a different site
Tag-Alongs will have their own transportation a little closer to game time
After your team wins and you accept the trophy at midfield--
Transfer back to the hotel for a Celebration Pizza Party
Free time by the Pool to relax!

Saturday, Celebration Day

Sleep in a little, you earned it
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel 
Start the day by heading back to Irving for a Texas Stadium Tour.
Have a chance to take a tour of this magnificent stadium
and see what it was like as a spectator at their game. You'll even stop 
by the Cowboys Locker Room for a look at what NFL life is like.
Then, transfer to a taste of real Texas - The Stockyard of Fort Worth
Tour the stockyards and see real Cowboy's in action at this
great Texas landmark. After a true Texas Dinner at the Stockyards,
you'll get a chance to see the Stockyards Rodeo or Pawnee Bill's 
Wild West Show for an up close, personal, and adrenalin filled 
night of Texas culture!
After a day of fun, transfer back to the hotel
Free time by the Pool to relax!

Sunday, Departure Day

“The Trip Home” Check out of hotel & Load Luggage into luggage truck
Transfer to a private Breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe
It's a real Rumble in the jungle at this great breakfast buffet
Team transfers to the Six Flags Over Texas
Admission to the Park
Get ready to relax and have fun at a theme park as big as Texas
Enjoy a private Bar-B-Que Lunch Buffet in the park
We'll all meet, and then depart for the airport
Goodbye Dallas
