Sample Cheer/Dance Trip Itinerary

Here's an sample of what a typical trip experience might look like, although changes can be made.
As you are reading the itinerary, be aware that all transportation during the trip is provided for you.
You'll just catch the bus and go!  

And with all transportation, meals, and planning taken care of for you, 
plus all the theme parks to keep the squad entertained away from the game, 
this is finally a game trip that you can enjoy too!

Wednesday, Arrival Day, Orientation

Squad goes to school all day and departs that evening
Squad, Coaches, & Tag-Alongs depart on flight
Arrival in Sunny Orlando, Florida
Welcome from KSA and Campus Get-Aways Rep
Transfer directly to Disney’s All-Star Sports ResortRegistration and Key Distribution (No hassle check-in!)
Quick orientation at check-in so you're prepared for the week
Your luggage will be at the back of the hotel for easy access to your rooms
Free time by the Pool to relax!
Room Check & Lights Out 

Thursday, Workshop and Banquet Day

First thing in the morning, transfer to the banquet facility
Enjoy The KSA Celebration of Athletes Banquet

All teams, cheerleaders, coaches, and Tag-Along Fans will come together to meet and celebrate sportsmanship. The morning will start with a greeting from some special guests--Mickey, Minnie, and the gang. Get your camera ready, this is a once in a lifetime experience.  Then, we'll enjoy a fabulous buffet style meal. After breakfast, each cheerleading/dance squad and football team will be introduced and each coach will say a few words about their group. Every team member, cheerleader, drill team member, manager, trainer, and coach will receive a KSA Participation Medal-because everyone who worked hard enough to get here is a winner! And finally, to close the Banquet, each Cheerleading/Dance Squad will take center stage for a performance in front of the entire group, showing which school has the best spirit. Is it you?

The KSA Celebration of Athletes Ceremony is sponsored by KSA Events and Campus Get-Aways. To keep the event unique and intimate, only students, coaches, and Campus Get-Aways Tag-Along Fans are eligible to attend, so make sure your parents book in time.

Tag-Alongs, are then free to explore the parks all day
Squad transfers to the hotel to change and for optional Practice
Transfer to Disney-MGM Studios
Admission to the park
Don’t miss the action as you enjoy the fun all afternoon!   The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, and the ROCK 'N' ROLLer Coaster® Starring Aerosmith await!
Dinner in the park with a meal coupon
At night, enjoy Fantasmic® 
      A Spectacle of Lasers, Lights, Fireworks and Villains!
After the fun, transfer back to the hotel
Free time by the Pool to relax!

Friday, Game Day

Breakfast at the hotel food court with a meal coupon
Tag-Alongs, you are free to explore the parks all day
Squad transfers to backstage Epcot®
Participate in "Disney® Dancin'" Workshop
Learn, hone your skills, and have fun in this exciting workshop

After the workshop, admission to the Park
Don't miss Test Track®, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience®,
        and all of the great new products and ideas at Innoventions.
Then, travel around the world at the World Showcase
Transfer back to the hotel to get ready for the game
Meal Coupon for dinner at the hotel
At the appropriate time, the Squad will transfer to the Sports Complex for
the KSA Game of the Week - featuring your team 
Junior Varsity game, if played, will usually precede the varsity game,
but is sometimes played Saturday morning
Tag-Alongs will have their own transportation a little closer to game time
After your performance at halftime and your team wins--
Transfer back to the hotel for a Celebration Pizza Party
Free time by the Pool to relax!

Saturday, Celebration Day

Sleep in a little, you earned it
Breakfast at the hotel food court with a meal coupon  
Squad transfers to the Magic Kingdom® Park
Admission to the Park
Don’t forget to ride Space Mountain®, Splash Mountain®, and the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter™. Meet to go to Disney® Magic Music Days Orientation
Cheer/Dance performance at the Tomorrowland Stage 
This park performance is optional for squads
Back into the park after the performance
Dinner in the park with a Meal Coupon
Don't miss the nightly light parade and fireworks 
Meet at the front of the park for chaperone check-in at park's closing
Transfer back to the hotel
Free time by the Pool
Room check & Lights Out

Sunday, Departure Day “The Trip Home”

Check out of hotel & Load Luggage into luggage truck
Transfer to a private Breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe
It's a real Rumble in the jungle at this great breakfast buffet
Admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park Spend the morning in the park
Don't miss the Kilimanjaro Safari™ and Countdown to Extinction™
Lunch on your own
After lunch, transfer to Downtown Disney® Marketplace
Free Time to shop and pick up those last minute souvenirs
We'll all meet, make sure everyone is present, and then depart for the airport
